Quick Start essCore Setup Steps

  1. Create a user for yourself
  2. Add yourself as an employee
  3. From the tools menu, go to general optons maintenance and go through each one adding values you feel need to be included.
  4. Add wholesalers and vendors and contacts for all.
  5. Add publishers
  6. Add projects - adding artists, works, and products
  7. Add associations to of artists and works to each product in a project
  8. Add publisher and writer associations to works
  9. Add royalties and offsets to each of the artists
  10. Add purchases to vendors for ordered product from vendors
  11. Add manufacturers - companies that only manufacture "parts" for assembly to create a product within your own warehouse
  12. Add orders as they come in
  13. Run royalties process when a royalty period is complete.
